parallel-ring-setting-with-u-basket-round-prongs-mounting-in-sterling-silver-10mm
Parallel Ring Setting with U-Basket Round Prongs Mounting in Sterling Silver 10mm
This sterling silver ring setting has an elegant, smooth, tapered band terminating in an innovative prongs mounting into which you can set a 10mm round cut stone. This setting is formed out of a parallel U-shape so the prongs don't "quarter" the stone the way standard prong setting do. The notches here are placed on the inside corners of the prongs so more of your stone is visible at the outside edges, creating an illusion that enhances the apparent size of the stone. This setting can also, in a pinch, be set with a 6mm by 10mm baguette (rectangular with beveled corners).

It is a unique choice for many jewelers, jewelry designers and artists to create designs not just brilliant but of timeless elegance.

The ring setting is cast in sterling silver then electroplated in rhodium to provide corrosive protection and enhance the appearance and durability of the silver.

Whether you want a traditional or a modern and contemporary look, you will find that we have an extensive variety of ring setting styles and sizes for every taste and to fit different stones.

This ring setting is 10mm round U-prong mounting, and weighs 2.54 grams.

Available in three ring sizes:
#6 ::: #7 ::: #8

https://silviafindings.us/products/parallel-ring-setting-with-u-basket-round-prongs-mounting-in-sterling-silver-10mm
